Cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door, manufactured circa 1885 and signed PENN in a circle on the right hand side only (Penn Hardware Co).  Lock measures 4" high x 3 1/8" deep and is reversible.  Keeper is 3/4" additional.  Lock has a night latch on the top edge of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.  Restored to black finish complete with original brown mineral door knobs, original cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and one key.  Complete with slotted screws.
