Restored cast iron vertical rim lock with the raised relief star in the center on both sides manufactured by Sargent & Co in the 1870's.  Lock measures 4 1/4" high x 3 1/2" deep without the jamb keeper which is an additional 7/8".  Lock is reversible night latch original on the back edge of lock is missing (photo below) most likely removed by previous owner .  Restored to black finish and complete with original white porcelain door knobs - cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and one key all original.  Latch and dead bolt are brass.  Ready to install - complete with screws.
