Cast iron Victorian horizontal rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door, circa 1890 - Chantrell Hardware & Tool Co.  logo showing on left hand side only.  Lock measures 3 1/4" high x 4 1/8" deep and is reversible handing.  Keeper is 3/4" additional.  Lock has a night latch on the top edge of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.  Backset is 3 1/8" to knob center.  Restored to black finish complete with original white porcelain door knobs.  Knobs may be switched to brown upon request in comments section of order.  Accompanied by cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and one key.  Complete with slotted screws.
