Antique Victorian era mortise lock set, circa 1885, complete with lock, strike, key, and all cast bronze trim. Large matching bronze escutcheon plates measures 8 3/4" x 2 3/8" - matching door knobs are 2 1/4" diameter and are on spindle with screws. All are heavy and well cast bronze. One plate is a bit lighter than the other from one aging on the exterior and one interior. Mortise lock is reversible and measures 3 5/8" high 3" deep x 3/8". Spacing is 2 1/4" from knob hole to center of center top rounded part of keyhole. Back set is 2 1/4". Lock face is 5 1/4" x 7/8" and is bronze. Strike is brass. In very good restored, working condition.
